Cachaça Germana Heritage – 8 years oak, 2 years balsam wood

Cachaça Germana Heritage (Premium Heritage) is one of the longest-aged cachaças in our range. According to the producer, it is first aged eight years in oak barrels and then a further two years in balsam wood barrels (bálsamo).

According to Fazenda Germana, the balsam wood is used specifically to soften the oak character. The producer describes the result as harmonious, smooth and expressive – a cachaça with depth that is best enjoyed neat.

How to enjoy

Neat at room temperature in a small glass, ideally given a few minutes for the aromas to open up. If you like whisky, cognac or aged rum, this is a Brazilian alternative.
