Cachaça Magnífica Tradicional – two years in Ipê wood

The Cachaça Magnífica Tradicional comes from the Brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro. According to the manufacturer, it is aged for two years in barrels made of Ipê wood – a Brazilian hardwood. This gives it its light golden color.

The manufacturer describes a harmonious aroma with fresh, fruity notes of lemongrass, vanilla and banana, as well as the typical taste of sugarcane. The taste is refreshing yet smooth, with a lingering finish. According to Magnífica, the Tradicional is bottled at 45% ABV.

Usage

According to the manufacturer, the Tradicional is particularly suitable for Caipirinha and Batidas. Thanks to the wood aging, it brings more aroma to the drink than an unaged cachaça. If you want to try it neat, drink it slightly chilled from a small glass.
