Cachaça Santo Grau Paraty – clear and fruity

The Santo Grau brand works with historic, family-run distilleries in various regions of Brazil and bottles their cachaças under the name of their respective town. The Paraty variety comes from the colonial town of the same name on the coast of the state of Rio de Janeiro – an area with a long cachaça tradition.

According to the manufacturer, this clear (white) cachaça has been made using the same method for five generations: from the manual harvesting of sugarcane to natural fermentation and distillation in a copper pot still.

Usage

At 43% ABV, Paraty is strong enough to stand out even in mixed drinks with plenty of ice. It is suitable for a caipirinha with an intense sugarcane aroma – step by step in our Caipirinha Recipe – or neat, slightly chilled.
