Goiabada Cascão – firm guava paste by Predilecta
Goiabada is a paste made from guavas and sugar and is one of Brazil's best-known sweets. The Cascão variety is firm and, according to the packaging, contains fruit pieces and seeds. The goiabada from Predilecta consists of 54% guava fruit pulp.
Traditionally, goiabada is eaten in slices with white cheese – the combination is called "Romeu e Julieta".
