Our Costa Rica Naranjo is cultivated at an altitude of 1,200 to 1,700 m. The nutrient-rich soil, warm climate, and excellent altitude ensure a top-quality coffee. The coffee cherries are carefully hand-picked to guarantee a fine selection of the best coffee beans. The Costa Rica Naranjo is traded directly with the local coffee farmers, without any intermediaries. This helps the farmers improve their harvest, income, and prospects while protecting the environment and the natural resources of their land.

Character and Taste

The Costa Rica Naranjo has a slightly malty, nutty note with a pleasant citrus aftertaste. The over 800 different aromatic components guarantee an unmistakable taste.

Special Features

Coffee from Costa Rica lost its world-renowned character due to the desired mass production of the 80s and 90s. Today, small farmers are able to process their own coffee and market it profitably. This has also led to the quality returning to the high level of old times.
