Chá de Quebra-Pedra – Brazilian Herbal Tea by Natureba
Chá de Quebra-Pedra from the Brazilian brand Natureba Chás is a traditional herbal tea from Brazil. “Quebra-Pedra” is the Brazilian common name for the plant from which this tea is made; botanically, it belongs to the genus Phyllanthus. Quebra-Pedra tea has been consumed in Brazil for generations.
The tea is supplied as dried, cut herbs in a transparent 25 g bag—meaning it is loose tea, not in tea bags. This allows you to determine the amount per cup or pot yourself.
Preparation
- Add the herbs to a tea strainer or pot according to taste.
- Pour over hot water and let steep for a few minutes.
- Strain and enjoy plain or lightly sweetened.
Other Brazilian herbal teas: Chá de Boldo do Chile and Chá de Erva-Doce (Fennel Tea) by Barão. You can find all the teas in the Brazilian Coffee & Tea collection.
