Fazenda Lagoa – Plantation Coffee from Minas Gerais to Discover

The 250 g package is ideal for discovering Fazenda Lagoa. The coffee comes from the “Sul de Minas” region in the state of Minas Gerais, where, according to the roaster, the first coffee plantations were established over a hundred years ago. It is roasted by the Hamburg coffee roaster Dethlefsen & Balk.

The Farm

According to the roaster, Fazenda Lagoa is located at an altitude of 950 to 1,200 m. The 400-hectare cultivation area is surrounded by around 660 hectares of protected rainforest. The coffee cherries are harvested by hand and sun-dried.

Taste

Dethlefsen & Balk describes the coffee as mild and harmonious, with a sweet softness and a chocolatey aftertaste. A coffee that can be enjoyed just as well black as with milk.
