Fluted Cake Pan (Model 3)

This cake pan is a fluted ring pan with a central tube – in Brazil, the typical pan for sponge cakes such as Bolo de Fubá, Bolo de Cenoura, or Bolo de Laranja. Pudim de Leite is also often prepared in a ring pan.

Usage

• For sponge cakes such as Bolo de Fubá or Bolo de Cenoura
• For Pudim de Leite cooked in a water bath
• Grease and flour before filling

Baking Tips

The central tube conducts heat to the center of the batter, ensuring the cake bakes evenly. Let the finished cake rest briefly in the pan before turning it out onto a wire rack or plate. For Pudim de Leite, first spread caramel in the pan, then pour in the pudding mixture and cook in a water bath.
