The Cachaça Saliníssima Ouro comes from Salinas in the northern part of the state of Minas Gerais – one of the best-known regions for artisanal cachaça in Brazil. As a Cachaça Artesanal, it stands for artisanal production.

According to the manufacturer, the Ouro is a blend of cachaças aged for different lengths of time, which mature in traditional Bálsamo wood barrels. Each component brings its own character. The result is a golden-colored cachaça with a more complex, warmer taste than the unaged Prata.
