The Santo Grau brand works with historic, family-run distilleries in various regions of Brazil. The Itirapuã variety comes from the town of the same name in the rural interior of the state of São Paulo.

According to the manufacturer, the sugarcane is still milled there using the power of a waterwheel. This is followed by natural fermentation and distillation in a copper pot still – classic craftsmanship typical of a Cachaça Artesanal.
