Camocim – Plantation Coffee from Brazil
The coffee Camocim comes from the farm of the same name in Brazil and is roasted by the Hamburg coffee roaster Dethlefsen & Balk. You receive it as whole beans in the 1 kg package of the roaster's brand "Café Cult".
Origin
According to the roaster, the farm is located high up in the mountains of the Atlantic Rainforest (Mata Atlântica) and is surrounded by natural vegetation. According to Dethlefsen & Balk, a particularly robust plant variety is grown.
Taste
Dethlefsen & Balk describes Camocim as an Arabica with a mild-sweet, nutty aroma, full body, and low acidity – a coffee that can be drunk black or with milk.
Flavor profile according to the roaster: mild-sweet, nutty
Preparation
Freshly ground, the coffee is suitable for filter, French press, fully automatic machines, or portafilters – you adjust the grind to your preparation method.
Tip
Camocim is also available in the 250 g package and in the Brazil Discovery Package (3 × 250 g). You can find more coffees in the Brazilian Coffee & Tea collection.
